A notary is a public official appointed by the Governor of Florida. As such, I may notarize documents anywhere in the state, but am not authorized to do so in any other state.
Some of the events that can be certified by a notary include:
Administration of Oath
Acknowledgement
Marriage
Signature on Legal Documents
There is a $60 fee for the first three stamps and notary signatures, $5 each for every stamp and signature thereafter. There may be an additional mileage reimbursement charge at the current rate for travel of more than 15 miles to the signing.
